The pups are well bred and come from good steady lines. The father is Millbuies Gilbert from Carnochway Gun dogs and he is of Leacaz breeding. He has a good steady nature and competes in the Scottish team Field Trials. The mother of the pups is very intelligent and is both a working dog and a pet. When working shetotally reliable – steady, alert – both mentally and visually. She has an excellent nose and is also responsive to commands. She has good strength and stamina and is capable of carrying heavy game. To sum her up – she does the work.
