Our platform is also secured using TSL encryption – the leading industry standard! Second to technology is our service of course! The customer experience, whether that be buyer or seller, is extremely important to us. We regularly ask for feedback and improve the platform where required. That’s how the new WhatsApp button was born. We heard, we listened and now buyers can get in contact with a seller at the touch of a button, directly from their mobile phone

The name basic may actually be slightly misleading because there’s nothing basic about it. For a small fixed fee, you can create an advert with up to 10 images and showcase your stock to hundreds of buyers right across the UK instantly. Whether you’re selling one dog or a whole litter, Basic adverts like our Featured adverts never expire. We’ll keep showing your ad until you mark it as sold. There’s no 30 day listing restrictions or anything like that here. In addition, buyers can connect with you using our secure online messaging system for free, but most sellers now just choose to allow buyers to contact them by phone or through WhatsApp. Featured ads do all of this, however they’re shown more often and above basic adverts. If you’re looking to generate the maximum number of leads possible from prospective buyers, Featured is the advert package for you

The Gundog Trader platform was created to ensure the security of sellers and their stock. We’ll never show your full address on our platform. During the advert creator, we will ask for your billing address which is part of our secure payments system and has nothing to do with your advert and what it shown to prospective buyers. In addition, the platform is secured using industry leading TSL encryption technology to keep everyone safe. We’re also registered with the Information Commissioners Office under registration number ZA090702

During the advert creator, we’ll ask you to pay for your advert package online and this forms part of the ad creation process. We accept all major credit and debit cards in addition to ApplePay. Your payment to us will be shown on your bank statement as ‘Gun Dog Trader’

Expiring ads here? No way! We’ll keep showing your advert until you mark it as sold regardless of whether you choose our Basic or Featured advert package. Other platforms have time limits before an advert will expire but that’s just not us

Absolutely and instantly too. Just head on over to your control panel to make the necessary changes or call us and we’ll do it for you over the phone if you like

Just head on over to your account area (My account) and click the listing you wish to remove. Here you can choose to ‘hide’ your advert which is ideal for temporarily pausing your ad, or select ‘delete’ to remove it entirely. Paused ads will be automatically deleted after a given time frame, so only choose this option if you need to pause your advert for a few days
